Day 5: Sunday April 15

This happens a little later.

Last night's dinner.

We walked for 15 minutes in horizontal rain to get to our Mt Fuji tour pick-up.

These golf driving ranges are everywhere.

Toyko's largest racecourse located in Fuchu.

A cemetery. All Japanese are cremated due to the shortage of land.

We start the rise to the Fuji Five Lakes area.

A boat ride on Lake Kawaguchi

Lunch.

Due to the higher altitude the cherry blossoms bloom a little later.

It didn't look promising for getting a view of Fuji today. This was taken at the 'First Station'. That's Mt Fuji in the background.

This tree is in the early stages of its bloom.

A native beehive.

A photo of a photo!

Rice paddies.

I'm wearing my sister-in-law out.

Things started to look a little more promising as we head to a cablecar ride up Mt. Komagatake in Hakone.

Up there is where we are headed.

A golf course.

Just spectacular!

A very common sight.
